Maine to Maryland

Camden, Maine
As the fall colors continue to change in varying degrees down the east coast, we roll into the very colonial charming port town of Camden, Maine....it reeks of old world sailing....we're in love.

At the same time, we know we're ready to become "one of them" out on the water....not stuck on shore longing for our boat to come in....it reconfirms our goal.

Portland Maine
For the last 10 years at the BnB, we had Scott and Lisa Anderson from Portland, Maine come stay with us and enthusiastically share our love of skiing Taos Ski Valley.  And finally after 10 years, we got to experience their world as owners of a small but fast growing artisans bakery and neighborhood grocery store called Rosemont Market & Bakery.

Breads and Maine blueberry pie...lucky us.
They specialize in locally grown products and incredible handmade breads.....Scott does a midnight to 9am shift as the baker of all 4 stores spread around Portland---he was our role model/pin-up poster child in our BnB kitchen for baking inspiration....not to mention his indefatigable-all-day-for-a-week-in-the steeps skiing.
From Maine to Taos----it's connected by love

Tim's right arm?  Froze off or great white shark?
But we were also thoroughly impressed with Lisa's Atlantic Ocean cold water swimming----you try a 2 mile swim-no-wetsuit at 58 degrees------brrrr, naw thanks....I went metal-detecting on the beach instead.

We had an exceptional time one evening on site at their local dairy/meat supply farm (Winter Farms) feasting on 6 courses and a complimentary array of divine wines.....wow, udderly unforgettable.
Thank you Andersons for a fabulous time!

And onward to:
                                          Newport, Rhode Island-----rain and sailboats

Mystic, Connecticut------more boats.

NYC CITY-----HOLY  #*@!
l

And.....finally Baltimore on the Chesapeake....

Stay tuned-------DC + Annapolis and more adventures with Roadtrek and Reeves!!!
